My Father on Earth and My Father in Heaven: A Story of Family, Faith, and Divine Purpose
My Father on Earth and My Father in Heaven
My earthly father was Alfred Saiteye, a good man from the Taveta/Taita community in Kenya. My mother is Susan Wangari. As a child, I did not grow up with my father in the same home. That separation shaped me in many profound ways during my formative years — it created lingering questions, deep longings, and an internal search for identity that would later lead me on a profound spiritual journey. As I grew older, I began to understand something much deeper about my existence. I am a Christian, and through my faith, I came to know God intimately as my Father in Heaven. At first, the idea felt distant and abstract, but as I studied the Bible and spent time in quiet prayer, the relationship between God the Father and His children became beautifully clear to me.
Even before I was born into this world, I believe God already knew me, my name, and my path. In my spirit, I have always felt that my journey was not ordinary — that it carried a special, predetermined purpose. There was always a quiet sense that my steps were being guided, even through the moments of isolation and silence.
The Turning Point: My Near-Death Experience
In 2012, everything changed in an instant. I had a powerful, transformative near-death experience that opened my eyes completely to the vivid reality of the spirit realm. In that unforgettable moment, as my spirit stepped away from my physical constraints, I understood with absolute clarity that my spirit is far stronger than my physical body. I realized there is so much more to life, consciousness, and eternity than what we can see with our natural eyes.
That profound experience permanently confirmed what I had felt deeply in my heart for years — that my true identity, value, and purpose are not defined by my earthly circumstances, family gaps, or physical limitations, but entirely by God's perfect purpose for my life.
My Identity in Heaven
Through this journey, I have come to believe that I am far more than what people see physically on the outside. In Heaven, my spirit is known as a handsome and powerful man, created intentionally by God for a specific divine assignment on Earth. This realization is not born out of pride — rather, it is a humble, joyful recognition of how God truly sees His children when He looks past human weaknesses and earthly labels.
My story is one of family roots, unshakeable faith, true identity, and divine calling. It is about navigating the beautiful, complex tension between our imperfect earthly parents and our perfect Heavenly Father. Even when earthly relationships are distant, incomplete, or broken, God completely fills every single gap with His perfect, unconditional love. He restores our sense of belonging.
I share this personal testimony because I believe many people around the world are walking down very similar journeys — searching deeply for their true identity, seeking healing from broken family ties, and longing to understand God's ultimate purpose for their lives. Your past layout does not dictate your future potential when you are anchored in the Father.
Have you ever felt a deep spiritual calling or struggled with earthly family relationships? How did your faith help you find your true identity and peace?
I would love to hear your personal story, reflections, and thoughts in the comments section below. Let us support and encourage one another on this path of faith and leadership.
